THRESHOLD 13 : Geoffrey Bunfries meets Adam Collier

Liverpool Live TV’s Geoffrey Bunfries chats to Adam Collier a young artist exhibiting for the first time at Threshold 2013. In hindsight then maybe letting Geoffrey talk to him was unwise!

Exploring the links between identity and self-worth through human interaction, Adam Collier’s paintings allow us a window into a lonely world where emotions are heightened to a disturbing end product.

“I tried to put myself in the position of someone locked in a white room with no human contact whatsoever; an environment where people’s opinions don’t concern you. However bit by bit it eats away at your sanity.”

Adam is currently studying a Foundation course at Winstanley College, and sees art as a form of one’s interests and thoughts.
