FARM FEAST 2015: The Farm announced as main stage headliners

the farm colourLegendary Liverpool band The Farm will headline this year’s Farm Feast, Wirral’s two day food, drink and music festival. The band, whose hits include Groovy Train and All Together Now, bring their anthemic live show to Claremont Farm on Saturday 13th June 2015. TICKETS

The Farm will play the Main Stage (programmed by Dovedale Social) and will top a line up bursting with local musical talent including The Mono LPS, Married to the Sea, The Maydays, The Ragamuffins, Paddy Clegg and many more across Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June. The final weekend slots will go to the six finalists of #NewWirralSounds, a competition by Bido Lito! and Farm Feast selecting up and coming bands from Merseyside to play on the Main Stage at the festival.

Over at the Courtyard Stage, Mellowtone brings live acoustic sets across the whole weekend from midday until 10pm on Saturday and midday until 6pm on Sunday. from Rob Jones & Rob White, Katy Alex, Chris Elliot, Creaky Bones, Alex Hulme, Kevin Critchley, Southbound Attic Band, Rosenblume, Paul Wilkes, Little Sparrow, Paul Straws, Me & Deboe, Henry Pulp & The Lying B*st*rds, Ivan Campo, Alx Green, Richie Syrett and The Midnight Ramble. There will be music and DJs from 10am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Liverpool Live’s Red Sofa Sessions will once again be in attendance offering stripped back performances from many of the festival line up throughout the weekend – recorded for broadcast on our channel throughout the summer.

Andrew Pimbley, Festival Director of Farm Feast says, “At our heart we love great food but the best times are always those with a soundtrack to match. Just as we’re passionate about sourcing the best local food producers and those creating interesting dishes and ingredients so we’ve found the best local music acts with a strong Scouse pedigree for sound”.

Signed up for the summer festival this year is chef and British baker John Whaite, TV presenter Katy Ashworth, a familiar face to CBeebies viewers to entertain Little Feasters, curry evangelist and founder of Mowgli in Liverpool, Nisha Katona returns to Farm Feast to share recipes and her love of food with fellow foodies.
