motion_luna_noir_detlefTwo of the city’s most respected club nights Motion and Luna have joined forces to bring mighty Danish producer Noir and viva music’s Detlef together in a mammoth day/night session at two underground Baltic venues Constellations and 24 Kitchen Street on Saturday 11th July 2015. In what’s fast becoming a landmark year for Liverpool clubbing with many promoters going above and beyond to attract the finest electronic talent and create exceptional events among the city’s urban landscape, Motion and Luna will continue this trend by doing what they do best – looking after the dancefloor with Noir and Detlef joined by a host of local DJ talent.

Eclectic, unpredictable and hugely energetic Noir is one of the planet’s most in demand house DJs. The Dane’s pioneering label, Noir Music, has been responsible for helping break both Finnebassen and Hot Since 82. His 2011 track ‘Around’ was picked up by house giants Defected and dominated dancefloors across the world for nearly 18 months. Viva Music’s Greek hero, Detlef has already released music on respected labels such as VIVa MUSiC, Be As One, Moon Harbour and Defected.

The supporting cast for this event include Derek Kaye who has been part of the local music furniture for the past 40 years and Desa Basshead whose most famous track, the seminal “Is there anybody out there?” remains a favourite of many 90’s raver. These will be joined by Luna resident Steve Parry, Motion resident and owner, Prudence and new Luna Residents, Django’s House Party.
