WHATS ON: Liverpool Acoustic Live – Xander and the Peace Pirates | View Two Gallery | 29.01.16

Xander and the Peace PiratesThis coming Friday 29th January 2016 sees Liverpool Acoustic Live playing host to a rare acoustic gig by local legends Xander and the Peace Pirates, who will be bringing their own unique brand of soulful, blues based rock to the intimate performance space of Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery. TICKETS

The band has seen a meteoric rise in popularity recently thanks to an endorsement from Gibson Guitars, which lead to a string of gigs in America and attention from the legendary Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie) who was so impressed with the group that he wants to produce their next album.

Also playing on the night will be Glasgow singer-songwriter John Rush, who thrilled everyone with a dynamic set at last year’s Threshold Festival with his ‘folk tinged pop songs’.

Completing this Liverpool Acoustic Live night will be a performance from Omagh-born, Liverpool-based Karen Turley, who was last year chosen to represent Liverpool at the prestigious songwriting exchange between Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe and the Bluecoat.

With a line-up as good as this, the event is set to be an amazing evening of live music for everyone to enjoy, right in the heart of Liverpool’s historic Cavern Quarter.

Friday 29 January 2016
(Doors open at 7.45pm and the music kicks off at 8.15pm. Entry is by £5 advance ticket or £6 on the door and as always the money raised goes to the artists).
