The 39 StepsNorthern Comedy Theatre presents the Olivier Award winning show The 39 Steps, a very British, laugh-out-loud comedy that will be playing at St Helens Theatre Royal on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th July 2015. TICKETS

Based on the classic Hitchcock film of the same name, The 39 Steps follows the incredible adventures of Richard Hannay, as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and devastatingly beautiful women.

This wonderfully inventive and gripping comedy thriller will feature four of St Helens’ finest theatrical talent, all of whom are no strangers to performing on the Theatre Royal Stage. Starring alongside Benjamin is Harry Moore, who audiences will recognise from Sky 1’s Little Crackers, as well as countless other Theatre Royal shows. Multi-talented actress, dancer and opera singer Kathryn Chambers (Alan Ayckbourn’s Seasons Greetings) will also show of her skills as she portrays the three different love interests throughout the show.

Completing this fabulous cast will be Tom Platt (Cabaret, St Helens Theatre Royal’s production of Ciggie Run) who performs in the lead role of Richard Hannay, and who also co-produces the show.

Northern Comedy Theatre are also delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for 13 – 16 year olds to take part in a workshop from theatre professionals on Tuesday 28th July. Budding young thespians will receive first-hand experience in comedy, improvisation, physicality and characterisation in a fun, encouraging environment.
