Simon Stephens’ stunning adaptation of Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel of the same name received seven Olivier awards in 2013, including Best New Play, Best Direction of a Play and Best Scenic Design of a Play.

Directed by Marianne Elliot (who co-directed the National Theatre’s record-breaking production of War Horse), Curious Incident tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher Boone, who has an extraordinary brain but is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. On discovering his neighbour’s dog has been killed, Christopher decides to unravel the mystery of who is responsible. But his detective work begins to take him on a frightening journey that threatens to upturn his world.

The production stars Joshua Jenkins as Christopher, with Geraldine Alexander as Christopher’s teacher, Roberta Kerr as Mrs Alexander, Stuart Laing as his father Ed, Gina Isaacs as Judy, and Clare Perkins as Mrs Shears.
