COMING UP: Phoenix of Avalon, The Lantern Theatre, 16th Jan 2013

Local rock duo Phoenix of Avalon are due to release their new EP ‘Reborn’ on 16th January 2013, which intends to blur the lines of modern and classic rock. They will also be hosting a launch party at The Lantern Theatre on the 16th January.

Phoenix of Avalon are a two piece music act from Liverpool. The group consists of Stephen Redfern and David Connor, who share writing responsibilities with previous musical offerings including; Paradise Way, Joker & the Fool and One Last Chance. Phoenix of Avalon draw upon many influences including; Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, The Beatles, David Bowie & Black Sabbath to produce a classic rock inspired sound perfectly executed and complimented on stage with a high energy stage performance.

The highly anticipated EP consists of four brand new original tracks; starting with the heaviest of the tracks Battle of Fallen Angels, Reborn rocks into the fist-pumping Sins of the Son, the EP seamlessly flows into track three, the slowest number from Reborn, the rock ballad Letters to No One, finished with the fast paced raw sound of Devil Woman.

All four tracks where written by both members of Phoenix of Avalon; Stephen Redfern and David Connor, and produced, engineered and recorded at Crash Studios Liverpool, by Andy Fernihough.

“I’ve said it before, If you don’t buy into Phoenix of Avalon now, you’ll be left out later”
