DON’T SLEEP ON IT – Easter Weekend: LDMS & Jolt | 303 | I Give Good Face

Easter weekend is not to be missed with events spanning the bank holiday. Our blogger Ashley Manning picks out three of the best parties and there’s not a chocolate egg in sight.

First up is the return of Jolt alongside LDMS on Friday. The tagline for the event is ‘You may not be able to eat meat but nowhere in the bible does it prohibit house,’ –quite right! If you head down to Magnet you’ll get to listen to the likes of electronic maestro Brett Jacobs and – along with resident DJ’s – he will be supported by East End Dubs. As the name suggests, Dubs is heavily weighted towards the dub side of house listen below. It will be a good energized start to the weekend so you really ought to go. TICKETS

You can use Saturday to refuel for the big guns on Sunday… The Williamson Tunnels is a hard venue to beat when it comes to big scale tech and acid house events. This Easter Sunday sesh sees a lineup in which the maverick of club nights, 303, presents Andrew Weatherall. Mr Weatherall is a longstanding DJ and producer on the scene and with years of experience has both developed a love and knowledge that makes him a DJ always worth getting a ticket to see. He will be joined by Mr Paul and 303 DJs so have a listen below. TICKETS

Also on Sunday night, will be the second birthday of ‘I Give Good Face.’ Haus Warehouse will see the likes of James Dexter and Jack Swaffer take to the decks for a night of deep underground house music. As always with most nights held at Haus, don’t expect a nice easy breezy musical experience. This one will be just as heavy as the rest of them. Headliner Dexter often teams soul with house so have a listen below and see what you think. TICKETS
