INTERVIEW with Liverpool actor Stephen Fletcher

“All the world in one city” the Liverpool Everyman theatre presents Dead Heavy Fantastic,  a new play by Robert Farquhar,  following the ups and downs of a night out in Liverpool.  The show runs from Fri 11th March to Sat 2nd April and features an ensemble cast including Con O’Neill, Michelle Butterly, Alan Stocks and Stephen Fletcher.  We caught up with Stephen after a busy day in rehearsals 

Stephen Fletcher career has seen him play such diverse roles as Hamlet at the Liverpool Shakespeare festival and Paul McCartney in the Royal Court’s production of Bob Eaton’s Lennon. He has recently finshed playing Dick in Scouse Pacific also at the Royal Court.

The LIPA trained actor talked to Rich Denton about Dead Heavy Fantastic, being Paul McCartney and his musical tastes…
