NEW OPENING: OhMeOhMy, West Africa House, Water Street

One of Liverpool’s grandest structures gazed upon by the iconic Liver Birds now takes on a new incarnation; an eatery and events venue when the team behind LEAF launch their new project OhMeOhMy on Monday 26th August.

The majestic waterfront building formally known as West Africa House and home of The Bank of West Africa, wowed the likes of Lady Gaga as a photography studio and has united lovers across the city as a secret wedding reception venue in recent times.

Now for the first time in it’s 90-year history, the building will become an accessible, affordable and breathtakingly attractive space to meet, think, eat, drink or hold an event. Open for breakfasts and lunches, dishes on the menu start at just £3 with english breakfasts from £6.25.

Natalie Haywood, founder of LEAF and OhMeOhMy says: “We are so happy to be opening the doors to OhMeOhMy. We came up with the name because we think it’s a breathtaking room. People would come in and their jaws would drop when they first saw the space! Places this grand are associated with art galleries and the business district of town, so it’s amazing to create a public space for socialising that everyone can enjoy”.

With bank holiday less than 2 weeks away, the team are busy making their final touches to OhMeOhMy ready to welcome everyone inside.
