NEWS: Coleen gets ‘In The Mood’ for Empire panto

Queen of daytime TV Coleen Nolan will be bringing Christmas magic with a wave of her magic wand as The Fairy Godmother in this year’s panto Cinderella. It will run from 14 December 2012 until 6 January 2013 at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. Also starring is Liverpool’s very own Cinderella, former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon, returns to her native city to play the lead role.

Coleen Nolan said: “The Liverpool Empire is one of the best and most prestigious venues in the country and I can’t wait to play the Fairy Godmother there. First Family Entertainment is renowned for their incredibly lavish productions and Cinderella will be the perfect way to celebrate the festive season. Make sure you get your ticket to the ball as it’s guaranteed to be the best panto around.”

Liz McClarnon said: “I’ve had my Christmas wish granted. I’m so excited to play Cinderella back home in Liverpool. It’s going to be such a fabulous show with all the glitz and glamour of the West End.”

Of course, Cinderella wouldn’t be the same without those Ugly Sisters so, donning the frocks and the lippy are Radio City’s Pete Price and local actress Pauline Daniels and many performances will get an extra festive treat when Tayleur & Elliot, local dance finalists from the hit TV show ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’, will also make a special appearance. 
Featuring all the traditional panto fun with real Shetland ponies on stage, a carriage load of laughs and magic for all ages. Tickets are from as little as £10 so get practicing those boos, hisses and behind yous!
