Crissy, known for her role in hit TV Comedy Benidorm as well as a contestant in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, is delighted to be part of this new production of the hit musical. She’s looking forward to playing a host of different roles in this fast moving production that charts Merseyside life over 150 years.

Writer and Director, Brian McCann says, “It’s an exciting production to be part of. Crissy is one of the loveliest and funniest people I’ve met, she is guaranteed to bring a lot of fun and laughter to the production. I’ve worked with Suzanne and Micky on several occasions, they’re two great friends and great actors who both bring the stage alive as soon as they step onto it.”

The play celebrates the life and times of Cammell Laird, and the people of Merseyside. For well over a century and a half, ‘The Yard’ was the employer of thousands upon thousands of people from, the Wirral, across the water in Liverpool and beyond.

Brian adds, “Mention Cammell Laird and everyone’s got a story to tell. Birkenhead was built around the shipyard and people from all over Merseyside, the country and the world came to work or were connected to the yard.

It’s the fantastic cast we’ve put together, along with the play that guarantees a great night out… Down Our Street”
