NEWS: Liverpool Live TV reporter Ben Osu to take part in Olympic Torch relay

<pLiverpool Live TV’s> own resident interviewer extraordinaire Ben Osu has bagged himself a coveted spot on the Olympic Torch relay route as it arrives in Merseyside this coming Friday. Ben will run with the flame in Birkenhead during it’s short time on the Wirral before it heads back to the Pier Head for the Liverpool celebrations.

After being nominated by a friend Ben has been recognised for his outstanding achievements for Liverpool, including launching the campaign to bring the MOBO awards to the city and his extensive work with his local community, as well as his brilliant work presenting for Liverpool Live TV.

Ben will be running with the flame at around 6pm from Park Road North to Park Road West in Birkenhead on Friday 1st June before heading over to the Pier Head for the Olympic Celebrations.

And as preparation Ben has taken on the gargantuan Olympic Burger Challenge at What’s Cooking? at the Albert Dock (video footage coming soon).
