LLTV go all, Gung-Ho

Alex WintersLiverpool Live TV were invited along to the launch of Gung-Ho, a 5k course that features ten huge inflatable obstacles including a gigantic ball pool, massive foam pit and mammoth climbing wall and is the brainchild of Cbeebies presenter Alex Winters, who was the first to try out the huge 53m long slide called ‘The Thriller’ – which is higher than three London buses.

The Gung-Ho! event will raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s £30m new hospital appeal and the R Charity’s £10m Appeal for the New Royal.

Alex said:

“To actually see and have a go on ‘The Thriller’ has been a real buzz. Gung-Ho! is gearing up to be a huge event with thousands already signed up. People across Merseyside have really got behind the event and we’re very excited about holding the first race at Aintree racecourse. Of course, if people don’t want to actually take part in the race, it’s also a great spectacle and there’ll be loads going on to entertain the crowds.”
